According to a source in the Yellow's proffesional staff, the Amercian Point Guard of Unicaja Malaga, Omar Cook, is the main candidate to replace Doron Perkins next season, if current Point Guard leaves the team.
Maccabi has already offered an upgraded contract to Perkins, but the allround Point Guard, who earned just as about 200,000$ this season, has received many offers from several teams including Efes Pilsen, Armani Jeans and Montepschi Siena.
Maccabi has already contacted Cook's agent and the Negotiation is on.
More candidates for the Yellow's are Point Guards Sarunas Jasikevicius, Yotam Halperin and Jon Scheyer.
Unicaja has been also looking at the free-agency market, when Bo McCalebb's name came up as a candidate to replace Cook.
